Social IT develops and sells software for the management of health care associations. The functionalities of our solutions include the management of the clinical and assessment data, as well as the management of the care giver staff from the administrative point of view. Our mission is to help our clients obtain the highest levels of efficiency and effectiveness in the care delivery process. Our clients can be public entities or private companies delivering services to private citizens. The software modules provided for this project are part of Sistema Atl@nte, which is actually used by several tens of medical districts in Italy. Social IT also provides website development and software for dentists’ and veterinarians’ offices.


Main tasks to be carried on within the project

SOCIALIT will be contribute to the design of UNCAP during WP1. In addition, they will be in charge of extending the features of Sistema Atl@nte to support the new InterRAI™ tools that necessary for the use case considered by UNCAP. In addition they will be responsible (in the context of WP3) of the initial assessment of all the pilot sites, based on the extended Atl@nte technologies, that will be installed at all pilot sites to assess cognitive and physical performance of users in the initial context. This initial assessment phase, that will be coordinated by SOCIALIT, will last for 12 months while development will be carried on by the consortium. During this phase they will also responsible for the integration of existing assessment and invoicing modules of Sistema Atl@nte within UNCAP. Furthermore, during the pilot phase, they will be in charge for management of the pilots in Perugi and Tarzo. Lastly, key contribution is expected in terms of contributions to exploitation, through key marketing activities of UNCAP within the care market, and dissemination, through organisation of initiatives leveraging on InterRAI™ international community.

Social IT, as expert in the development of software instruments for the health-care process, completely fulfils the requirements of the present project. Few relevant projects carried on in collaboration with Studio Vega (San Vendemiano, TV, Italy) include:
• SPRINT-T, “Sarcopenia and Physical Frailty: multi-componenT Treatment strategies”, which is focused on the detection of some of the patient’s clinical parameters through time-dependent modules communicating with the clinical repository
• IBenC ͞”Identifying Best practices for care-dependent elderly by Benchmarking Costs and outcomes of Community Care” collecting data using InterRAI™ Home Care assessment module
• SHELTER project (Services and Health for Elderly in Long Term care), financed by the 7thFramework of the European Union, and focused on a study on a common assessment tool for nursing homes in 8 European and international countries
• “Codice Argento” dedicated to the construction of an innovative model for health care delivery in four Italian regions: Lazio, Toscana, Veneto, Sicilia.
